“ You are only young once, but you can be immature for a lifetime. Choose to grow into full maturity and your life is truly blessed - John P. Grier ”

HAPPY EASTER! HE is Risen!

We are hoping that as you read the letter this month that you can experience the full joy of this blessed holiday season. Taxes and all!

I know that Jesus told us to render to Ceasar what is Ceasars, but I would love to tell Ceasar to go pound sand! Hahahaha

The month has been filled with working travel and great experiences ~

Kurt had a wonderful month of music celebrating the gifts of Lis & Lon Williamson of The Driftwoods/Gatorbone Bands. The extensive rehearsals were really paying off as there were wonderful performances at Creekside and especially at their weekend at Suwanee Springfest in Live Oaks, Fl.

We were home for just a few days for holiday church rehearsals before we headed back to our old stomping grounds in PA. Well …..Mary and the gang at Cactus Grill certainly showed us all a fabulous time!

www.cactusgrill.net - remember that even when we are not in town, Mary is throwing Friday night entertainment your way all year round and brother Wayne is one of our favorite PA performers! Keep your eyes peeled for the new page of PHOTO ALBUM coming soon to the site.

The calendar program has also been updated and is now interactive with maps and additional info by clicking on the date. THANKS to Mike McLaughlin who continues to offer his amazing tech support to the site and brings new ideas to the table in order to keep you all in touch and informed!

While we were in PA, Kurt was afforded a few days to work with our good friend John Fachet at Sweetcreek Studios www.sweetcreekstudios.com and began tracking the upcoming CD of U Asked 4 It Too. In the meantime we discovered over a hundred tracks of unfinished music that Kurt had started working on before the BonJovi Tour in 2007. So Kurt will be traveling back up to PA on a regular basis to finish the tracks. Listen up for new music coming your way all summer long!!!

It was GREAT to spend the time in PA with so many good friends and a special shout out to the gang from Holy Trinity and the Bacon’s gang from Springfield High School – class of ……SHHHHHHHHHHHH! It was certainly a special night on Saturday while we celebrated our friends Linda Smith and Dave English and Sis-in-Law Jen. Thanks to Jen for sharing her day with us by bringing all 4 nieces and nephew Chauncey! All lined up right at the front table – Amy, Emily, Andrew, Sarah and Becca made a strong statement that the future looks bright for us all. Amy stayed on for an extra week to celebrate Easter with her family in PA and is coming home this week.

We headed back on Tues to continue with Wed rehearsals for PVPC svcs and a magnificent night at Casa Marina with the Hackers Band. The season came into the clearest view with the most beautiful Maundy Thurs svc we have ever been a part of. Sharing the night with the talents of Frankie Urzetta and Sharon Hawes was elevated even more by the amazing musical arrangements of Worship Leader/Music Director Dawn Hopkins. How blessed we were to celebrate HIS glory with such inspiring music.

With so many of you coming out to our first night at Pussers in PVB indicates that we will be planning to add them into the monthly performance schedule. www. pussers usa.com Keep your eyes peeled.

Singing Easter Sunday with the PVPC Contemporary Choir was icing on an already DELICIOUS cake! Boy – were you guys ON YOUR GAME!

I want you to walk around with us all the time for a big AH whenever we need to smile!

So our quiet plans of 4-5 of us going out to dinner for Easter suddenly changed and ALL FOR THE BEST. How lovely to spend the Easter day w/our “family”. It was a JOY to have our visiting friends from PA so that the Osbornes, Dick and Towanna, Shane, & my sisters Jami & LehAna – along with nieces Dayna and Dy ana got to watch me beat the pants off of Murphey all night long on Wii! WHEEEEEEEEE!

Okay – so Murph actually kicked my butt for most of the night, but I did have ONE good round of GOLF!!! Hahahaha. As for the brilliant Dye children….. One is reading books bigger than I have read in YEARS and the younger is blossoming into the little actress/impersonator. How do I say that “awesome” word again??? Great food – great company – great fun. Who wanted a quiet holiday anyway….RIGHT!

So we close the letter this month with encouragement for you all to keep the season in your heart all year. Take care of each other. Remember that you can build your FAMILY from all sources of love and light that surround you and that God holds you in hands even through the toughest of times.

Here comes Spring and we will look forward to seeing you out at the events coming your way!

Blessings,

Debrann
